Marta Bringas MA, LPCC
Founder & Clinician
Marta holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in both California and Oregon. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals become more effective at regulating their anxiety, managing their anger and navigating the unique challenges of high-pressure professions.
Since moving to California in 2013, Marta has found her niche working with professionals in the Entertainment and Arts Industry, including actors, writers, producers, animators, and musicians. She deeply understands the demands of performance pressure, impostor syndrome, guilt, creative blocks, and the struggle to balance personal and professional life. Her work mostly focuses on helping clients unlock their full creative potential while fostering inner calm and career fulfillment, but she has also worked with professionals in other high-pressure jobs in technology and sales to develop more effective internal self-regulation coping mechanisms.
Marta’s approach is warm, interactive, and results-driven, creating a space where clients feel comfortable from the start. Combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she guides clients through a journey of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and dismantling negative self-talk. With a direct yet compassionate style, she respects each client’s values while helping them maximize their strengths, develop new coping skills, and achieve meaningful progress in a short period of time.

“Balance Pathway is not just ‘talk-therapy’. You will gain a new understanding of your emotional world and learn tools to solve what has felt unsolvable for years”
